Medicare rebates
If you're claiming on Medicare, there will be a gap that needs to be paid. You must have a current referral from your GP. You are required to pay in full for the amount of the treatment and you can then claim the rebate directly from Medicare. The Medicare rebate for Physiotherapy is $52.95*.
Patients who have reached the Medicare Safety Net may receive a higher rebate. *Subject to change without notice.
